EHR software developer inks $24M in funding

Canvas Health, an electronic health records startup, has received $24 million in funding, TechCrunch reported July 14.

Canvas Health allows users to work through electronic health records with software that auto-fills information into documents. The system is also an open application programming interface, enabling software developers to continue working on the system. The software took five years to develop, according to TechCrunch.

The series B funding round was led by M13, with participation from Inspired Capital, IA Ventures and Upfront Capital.
