Department of Health and Social Services is accepting applications from Delaware healthcare providers for "mini-grants" in support of the state's health information exchange.
The mini grants would support Delaware Health Information Network's HIE tools and investments in EHRs, proper technology infrastructure, and DHIN-bundled services. DHIN holds more than 2.9 million patient records and facilitates the secure exchange of patient records for all Delaware acute-care settings and more than 46 long-term care facilities.
Applicants eligible to support the mini-grants include small primary care and other medical practices, behavioral health providers, accountable care organizations and federally qualified health centers that are not adopting the full range of HIE tools offered by DHIN.
