Comanche County Memorial Hospital to transition from Paragon to eClinicalWorks EHR

Jessica Kim Cohen -

Lawton, Okla.-based Comanche County Memorial Hospital plans to go-live on an acute care EHR and revenue cycle management platform from eClinicalWorks within the next 12 months.

The cloud-based platform will create a unified medical record across the 283-bed community hospital's inpatient and outpatient settings. The acute care EHR and revenue cycle management platform starts at $599 per bed per month.

Comanche County Memorial Hospital will transition to eClinicalWorks' platform from the Paragon Inpatient EHR system.

"We decided to make the switch from the Paragon Inpatient EHR system to eClinicalWorks because its pricing model has been so successful that we are eager to apply it to CCMH's acute care space," said James Wellman, CIO and compliance officer of Comanche County Memorial Hospital.

The Paragon EHR is an integrated EHR and revenue cycle management solution for the small hospital market segment developed by McKesson. The Paragon EHR was acquired by Allscripts under the company's purchase of McKesson's Enterprise Information Solutions business in October 2017.
