Banning, Calif.-based San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital announced on Nov. 14 that it will implement an Allscripts Sunrise EHR system.
Allscripts' Sunrise Community Care cloud-based EHR is designed for community hospitals with less than 100 beds. The Microsoft Azure-hosted EHR will help San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital manage clinical, financial and ambulatory content on a single platform.
"We chose Sunrise Community Care due to it being built especially for the unique challenges community hospitals face," said Steve Barron, CEO of San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital, according to the news release. "We believe Allscripts and the power of Sunrise Community Care will provide us with the tools and partnership needed to deliver coordinated care across settings — all while providing the best possible patient care."
The Allscripts EHR includes managed services, software and maintenance and provides regular upgrades to keep features and content up to date.
