Tampa General Hospital has named Jane Casey, RN, as vice president of CareComm Operations, the hospital’s clinical command center partnership with GE HealthCare.
CareComm uses real-time data with the aim of coordinating patient care. Prior to her new role, Ms. Casey directed the emergency services command center at Toronto-based Humber River Hospital, according to a May 8 Tampa General news release.
Tampa General’s command center was embedded with GE HealthCare’s software and launched in August 2019.
