Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Health Network in Milwaukee is implementing new digital health technologies to support pregnant women and their babies.

Babyscripts, a virtual care platform for managing obstetrics, and Xealth, a digital health company, support remote monitoring of pregnant women. Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin has enrolled 79 patients for remote monitoring and 561 patients for education through the mobile app since May. Patients enrolled in virtual monitoring share biometrics data with providers through the app, which integrates with the EHR.

The health network has partnered with both companies since 2018 and its digital health services hub Inception Health investments is an investor in both companies.
