St. Augustine, Fla.-based Flagler Health+ is integrating a new technology platform to help bring employees back to work safely, according to a report from The St. Augustine Record.

The health system went live over the past few days with tools from Healthfully, a company that it owns 30 percent interest in. The Healthfully technology monitors employee health and interactions with others.

Each employee logs into the program upon entering the facilities and answers questions about symptoms; any red flags prompt COVID-19 testing recommendations. The HIPAA-compliant system is encrypted to protect user information and only tracks individuals that the user comes in contact with for 15 minutes or more at a distance closer than 6 feet.

Healthfully and Flagler Health+ entered into an agreement last year to develop a personal health management platform and more recently tailored it to resuming operations in the workplace during the pandemic. Other local organizations and companies are using the platform, which takes about five to 10 days to roll out and costs $7 per employee per month.
