Boston Children's Hospital sold artificial intelligence technology developed at the hospital to building technologies provider Lumenix.

Four details:

1. Boston Children's sold an artificially intelligent monitoring system prototype it completed in March to Lumenix. The platform applies AI and computer vision to monitor hand hygiene..

2. Lumenix plans to use the platform as a cornerstone of its new technology platform and rapidly advance its building technology capabilities.

3. The technology was developed with clinicians to prevent hospital-acquired infections. The technology could be used to help schools and other facilities safely reopen.

4. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
