10 healthcare innovations named to Time's '100 Best Inventions of 2019'

Time revealed its annual list of the 100 most impactful, groundbreaking products and services of the last year on Nov. 21.

Ten healthcare innovations were included on the list, which spanned categories including augmented and virtual reality, consumer electronics, education, sustainability, transportation and more. The 100 finalists were chosen by Time editors based on factors such as originality, creativity, influence, ambition and effectiveness.

Here are the 10 healthcare innovations of 2019 highlighted among the top inventions of the year:
