Atrium, Wake Forest Baptist unveil joint brand

Following their combination last fall, Wake Forest Baptist Health and Atrium Health announced their new brand and name Aug. 19: Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. The new brand will be displayed on facilities and practices that were previously Wake Forest Baptist Health. 

"People in the North Central and Western North Carolina will soon see our new brand rolled out in advertising and marketing materials, followed by signage and other types of branding in all locations over the next year," Denise Potter, vice president and chief communications, marketing and media officer at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist said in a news release. "The brand carries the Atrium Health Tree of Life logo, which represents the enterprise's commitments and mission, as a symbol of hope and rejuvenation, preservation and regeneration of life. Each tree branch represents a guiding principle that our teammates strive to provide when serving and enriching our communities: gentleness, generosity, humility, prudence, wisdom, kindness, loyalty and courage in everything we do."

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is home to more than 20,000 employees, including nearly 3,000 physicians, 1,300 faculty and 1,000 students, part of Atrium Health's 70,000 total workforce.
