7 recently launched healthcare marketing campaigns

Below are seven marketing campaigns launched in June to raise awareness about brand identity and certain issues affecting public health.

  1. Mount Sinai Health System launched its largest ever awareness campaign to revamp its brand identity.

  2. Walgreens began giving $25 credits for its cash rewards program to people who get vaccinated against COVID-19 at one of its locations.

  3. Children's Miracle Network Hospitals teamed up with candy bar brands Crunch, Butterfinger and Baby Ruth for its "Raising the ‘Bar’ to Help Kids" campaign.

  4. The CDC released its "bums and the bees" PSA, which parodies parents' "birds and the bees" talk to encourage colorectal cancer screenings.

  5. The American Red Cross teamed up with Sinclair Broadcast Group, which owns or operates 185 local news stations across the country, to encourage blood donations to address the national blood shortage.

  6. As interest in public health degree programs rises nationally, the NYU School of Global Public Health launched a campaign attracting students to its bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs.

  7. The Alzheimer's Association issued a toolkit to raise awareness about the disease during June, which is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month.
