Below are six marketing campaigns launched in the past 30 days to encourage COVID-19 safety measures, promote vaccinations and raise awareness about obesity.

  1. The White House began paying social media influencers, especially those who post on TikTok, to encourage young Americans to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

  2. Analysis of a nationwide Facebook campaign in which physicians and nurses provided short messages on COVID-19 safety showed it had a significant impact on reducing holiday travel and decreasing subsequent infection rates, according to MIT News.

  3. The Florida Hospital Association and Florida Medical Association rolled out a PSA campaign encouraging Floridians to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

  4. The Arkansas Department of Health also launched a PSA campaign encouraging its residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

  5. Mucinex launched a PSA campaign named "Back to Normal is Up to You," which encourages people to keep wearing masks to stop the spread of COVID-19.

  6. Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge, La., began a campaign called "Obecity, USA" to raise awareness about the negative health effects associated with widespread obesity in the country.
