Flywire files for IPO

Flywire, a payment enablement software company, has filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to go public. 

The Boston-based company has not yet disclosed the number of shares to be offered or their price range in the initial public offering. Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Citigroup and BofA Securities are underwriting the deal. 

More than 80 health systems use Flywire's payment platform and software, the company disclosed in its preliminary prospectus. Customers include Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, Houston-based Memorial Hermann and Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health. Flywire acquired patient payment platform Simplee Feb. 13, 2020.
