Security researchers at Securonix have discovered a new cyberattacking campaign using a Python-based malware to target healthcare organizations, CNBC TV 18, an Indian affiliate of CNBC, reported Jan. 27.
The attackers use phishing emails containing links to a Google Drive or Dropbox file that downloads the malware, called PY#RATION.
Once downloaded, the malware allows for remote access and control by the unauthorized third party.
