Microsoft and Imprivata are collaborating on new digital identity projects for use in the healthcare space.

Microsoft Azure will now host the Imprivata Identity Governance and Imprivata's OneSign Single Sign-on is integrated with the Azure Activate Directory. Users will be able to access these tools from Microsoft Teams on Surface devices. The two companies are expanding their existing relationship to include new digital identity innovations.

The collaboration will help facilitate healthcare organizations moving to the cloud, ensuring a level of security and compliance required in the healthcare space. More health systems and other healthcare organizations are transitioning to the cloud to eliminate hosting their own server and gain the ability to easily expand their network.
