The Baltimore-based University of Maryland added 30,468 patients to the tally of people affected by the Accellion data breach.
At least 11 healthcare organizations have reported that they were affected in the nationwide data breach of file transfer vendor Accellion. With only nine organizations reporting the number of affected individuals through HHS' data breach portal, the current tally of victims affected is 3.5 million.
