Erlanger Interim CEO Receives Only Raise in Management Shuffle

No executive at Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System who moved to a new role during a management reorganization received a raise — except for interim CEO Charlesetta Woodard-Thompson, according to a Chattanoogan report.

Ms. Woodard-Thompson's salary increased from almost $327,000 to $486,720, according to the report.

In a memo sent to Erlanger employees, Ms. Woodard-Thompson said the "projected annual savings achieved from the executive reorganization is between $1.4 million and $1.6 million."

The six positions that were eliminated from the hospital leadership structure were executive vice president, senior vice president of adult acute care, senior vice president of ambulatory services, senior vice president of children's services, vice president of physician services and vice president of government relations/community affairs.
