Nomi Health opens its 1st pediatric COVID-19 vaccine site in Utah

Orem, Utah-based Nomi Health has opened its first infant and pediatric COVID-19 vaccine site in West Valley, Utah.

Nomi has required "extensive pediatric and infant vaccine training," according to a July 12 press release from the company. 

Vaccines for 5-17-year-olds and those over 18 will also be available. The location will have Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines and boosters for each vaccine's corresponding age group.

The site will be located in West Valley City Centennial Park and will offer infant and pediatric vaccines Thursday through Saturday during varying hours, free of charge. Snacks and drinks will be offered as well. 

Rapid and PCR testing is also available free of charge, though having an insurance card upon visiting is preferred. Tests are available Monday through Saturday during varying hours. 

Testing and vaccines will both be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. However, registration before visiting is preferred for quicker service. 

Nomi Health is a direct healthcare company aimed at offering more affordable and accessible health services. It has built similar COVID-19 vaccine sites in 11 total states.
