Dr. Abdullah will lead a team of cardiothoracic and vascular surgical specialists as chief of the division of pediatric cardiothoracic surgery, and director of pediatric heart transplantation in the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery. He will also serve as the co-director of the Pediatric Heart Center at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore.
He is set to begin seeing patients this July.
