Santa Rosa (Calif.) Memorial Hospital, part of Renton, Wash.-based Providence, will establish cardiology and imaging centers through a $20 million fundraising initiative led by the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Foundation.
The initiative will complete construction on the newly named Hansel Family Care Center, which was built in 2020. Philanthropists Henry and Marilyn Hansel have provided an initial $10 million gift, the largest in the foundation’s history, according to a news release from the health system.
The fourth floor of the Hansel Family Care Center will be home to the cardiology center and physicians from Providence’s Evert and Norma Person Heart and Vascular Institute. The first floor will house a fully updated imaging center, including the Marilyn Hess Hansel Breast Imaging Suite, the release said.
The fundraising initiative will also help establish a women’s health center within the hospital’s existing Henry Trione Medical Arts Plaza.
