- New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health has named Binoy Singh, MD, chair of the department of cardiovascular medicine at Phelps Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.
- Deepak Bhatt, MD, has been appointed director of New York City-based Mount Sinai Heart, effective Dec. 1.
- Bruce Ovbiagele, MD, has been named the editor-in-chief of the Journal of the American Heart Association.
- Matthew Cindric, FACS, joined Morgantown, W.Va.-based Mon Health Heart & Vascular Center as a vascular surgeon.
- Corvallis, Ore.-based Samaritan Heart Center welcomed Melissa Robinson, MD, to its cardiology department as a specialist in heart rhythm disorders.
- Lubka Ilieva, DO, joined Vero Beach, Fla.-based Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital as a cardiologist.
- Allan Welter-Frost, MD, joined Vero Beach, Fla.-based Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital as an electrophysiologist specializing in clinical cardiac electrophysiology diseases.
- Wilkes-Barre, Pa.-based Commonwealth Health Physicians Network welcomed Adil Sattar, MD, as an interventional cardiologist.
- Dr. Shuping Ge joined Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger as system chair of the department of pediatric and adult congenital cardiology.
