78 heart centers opening, expanding in 2023

Here are 78 heart centers opening, upgrading or expanding:

  1. Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt Transplant Center partnered with Evansville, Ind.-based Deaconess Health System to open a new transplant clinic in Newburgh, Ind.

  2. Aurora, Colo.-based UCHealth has broken ground on an estimated $280 million expansion project at Loveland, Colo.-based Medical Center of the Rockies.

  3. Orlando, Fla.-based Cardiovascular Associates of America added Atlanta Heart Specialists to its network.

  4. The Naples (Fla.) Planning Advisory Board members voted to approve all three phases of the NCH Cardiac Institute at its downtown Baker Hospital Campus.

  5. Chicago-based Endeavor Health Edward Hospital plans to open the first cardiac ASC in the Chicago region at its Naperville, Ill.-based hospital campus in 2025.

  6. Capital Cardiology Associates opened a new location in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

  7. Goodyear, Ariz.-based Abrazo West Campus expanded its open-heart surgery suite with a multimillion-dollar investment.
