Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital has received an $80,000 grant from HHS to fund military physicians' treatment of trauma patients at the hospital.
The military and civilian partnership, called Mission Zero, will aim to reduce costs and provide experience to military physicians. In 2021, Tampa General treated 3,000 trauma patients, according to a Dec. 2 hospital news release.
