Erie, Pa.-based LECOM Health Millcreek Community Hospital broke ground on a new emergency department and intensive care unit, yourerie.com reported March 23.
The expansion has been in the works for two years. The two-story addition will create a new emergency entrance and exit.
The construction is set to be completed in 2024.
