New York City-based Montefiore Health System was among the recipients of 538 grants worth $165 million awarded by the nonprofit Mother Cabrini Health Foundation.
The grant will support Montefiore's Terra Firma project, which works to provide care to minors living in the country without legal documentation and asylum-seeking families, according to a Jan. 23 Mother Cabrini news release. c
The foundation has now awarded 2,200 grants worth $635 million.
