Missouri University opens $30M nursing school building

The Columbia-based University of Missouri Sinclair School of Nursing hosted a dedication and ribbon cutting for the new $30 million School of Nursing building.

The new facility is four stories, 64,000 square feet, and located on the main campus. It includes seven intensive care high-fidelity simulation rooms, a 14-bed skills lab, a research suite, and 75-seat and 150-seat classrooms, according to an Oct. 17 news release.

"This building is the next installment, the next investment that shows that nursing is critically important for precision health," University of Missouri System President and Chancellor of the University of Missouri, Mun Choi, PhD, told the Columbia Missourian on Oct. 14.
