Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis is finishing a $225 million ambulatory outpatient specialty center, according to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

The center will consolidate over 40 clinics now spread across nine blocks. Medical services at the center will include cancer care, orthopedics, dental care, diagnostic imaging and surgery.

The building is expected to make care more convenient for patients while helping the organization attract more downtown Minneapolis residents and office workers, Scott Wordelman, vice president of ambulatory services for HCMC, told the Business Journal.

The project, which has been under construction for approximately two years, is expected to open March 2018.
