Mount Clemens, Mich.-based McLaren Macomb Medical Center is open after a year and a half of construction.
The new 62,000-square-foot facility sits directly across from the hospital's main campus. The facility features surgical and procedural units and clinical offices for specialty surgeons, according to a March 7 McLaren news release shared with Becker's.
"Being effective stewards to our community's wellbeing, it is our responsibility to maintain access to care and healthcare services and, when necessary, increase that access," McLaren President and CEO Tom Brisse said. "Conveniently located near our main campus, Harrington Medical Center allows us to grow and expand some of our more frequently used services while also increasing the efficiency in which that care is scheduled and delivered."
