MedCore Partners, Clear Sky Health break ground on new Texas hospital

Dallas-based MedCore Partners and Albuquerque, N.M.-based ClearSky Health broke ground on a new hospital development in Baytown, Texas.

The new 36-bed, 44,000-square-foot inpatient rehabilitation hospital is expected to create 100 healthcare-related jobs in the area, according to an Oct. 18 news release.

"MedCore is excited to partner with ClearSky Health on the development of this hospital to provide such a critical service to this community. It is inspiring to see ClearSky's dedication to improving the lives of its patients," said Michael Graham, one of MedCore's founding partners.

The hospital will treat disabling injuries or illnesses such as strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and other medically complex conditions.

The hospital is expected to open in winter 2023, according to the release.
