Children's Hospital of Orange County breaks ground on new tower

Children's Hospital of Orange (Calif.) County broke ground on a new nine-story medical tower that will host a variety of pediatric outpatient services.

The 330,000-square-foot tower will open in phases, with the first opening planned for 2025. When finished, the tower will include outpatient imaging, a floor dedicated to research, oncology infusion services and specialty clinics, according to a Jan. 17 news release provided to Becker's.

The new tower will be based on Children's Hospital of Orange County's Bill Holmes tower.
