6 hospitals planning facility upgrades, expansions

The following hospitals announced or completed plans in the last week to expand, upgrade or renovate their facilities.

1. Boulder Community Health plans rehabilitation hospital: 4 things to know

A new rehabilitation hospital is slated to come to Lafayette, Colo., thanks to a partnership between Boulder (Colo.) Community Health and Albuquerque, N.M.-based Ernest Health, according to a BizWest report.

2. Highland-Clarksburg Hospital plans $17.4M expansion, including 38 beds for substance abuse
Highland-Clarksburg (W.Va.) Hospital will add 58 beds in 2018 under a $17.4 million expansion, 38 of which will be used to for substance abuse care, according to The Exponent Telegram.

3. Rogers Behavioral Health opens clinic in Philadelphia
Oconomowoc, Wis.-based Rogers Behavioral Health opened a new outpatient clinic in Philadelphia, according to the Philadelphia Tribune.

4. NYU Langone to open 2 Florida clinics
New York-based NYU Langone Medical Center will open two new outpatient clinics in southern Florida to become more accessible to its client base.

5. RWJ University Hospital plans $60M ER expansion
Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., is embarking on a $60 million expansion project for its emergency department, according to NJ.com.

Executives at Charleston, S.C.-based Roper St. Francis helped break ground June 22 on Berkeley County's first new hospital in more than 40 years, according to The Post and Courier
