Trump's chief economic adviser suffers heart attack

Lawrence Kudlow, director of the National Economic Council, has suffered a mild heart attack, according to The New York Times.

"Our Great Larry Kudlow, who has been working so hard on trade and the economy, has just suffered a heart attack. He is now in Walter Reed Medical Center," President Donald Trump tweeted.

Mr. Kudlow took over for Gary Cohen as President Trump's top economic adviser in April and has been a supporter of the president's free trade policies and threats of tariffs.
