JPMorgan CEO made 364 times more than average employee in 2017

JPMorgan Chase & Co. CEO Jamie Dimon brought home $28,320,175 in 2017, including firm-paid employee benefits, according to a recent proxy statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

When compared to the bank's estimated median employee annual compensation, Mr. Dimon made $364 for every dollar an average employee received last year. The total annual compensation of median employees was $77,799 in 2017, according to the document.

Comparatively, the CEO of the second largest U.S. bank after JPMorgan — Bank of America's CEO Brian Moynihan — made $21,791,812 in 2017, or $250 for every dollar his median employees took home.

2018 marks the first year the SEC requires companies to include CEO pay ratios in their proxy statements under the Dodd-Frank Act of 2010.
