Facebook undergoes biggest exec shakeup since formation

In the wake of the Cambridge Analytica scandal — in which it was revealed the firm improperly accessed the information of 87 million Facebook users — Facebook has shaken up its executive leadership team, according to Bloomberg.

Here are the six latest leadership changes.

1. Dave Marcus, who formerly led the Messenger chat app, will head Facebook's blockchain division.

2. Facebook's former Chief Product Officer Chris Cox will now oversee all apps.

3. Will Cathcart will become head of Facebook's core application.

4. Adam Mosseri will replace Kevin Weil as head of product at Facebook's photo-sharing app while Mr. Weill will join the blockchain team.

5. Chris Daniels will oversee WhatsApp after leading Facebook's Internet.org initiative to spread online access to developing nations.

6. Jeff Zients, CEO of the Cranemere Group, will join Facebook's board.
