Coca-Cola is buying a minority stake in BodyArmor, a sports drink startup backed by basketball star Kobe Bryant, according to Reuters.
The investment comes as BodyArmor has sought to challenge Coca-Cola's Powerade and PepsiCo's Gatorade, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Under the deal, Coca-Cola could later take full ownership of BodyArmor, according to WSJ.
