10 firms topping Fortune's 2018 'World's Most Admired Companies'

Morgan Haefner -

Apple lead Fortune's annual list of "The World's Most Admired Companies" for 2018.

Fortune produced the list in collaboration with Korn Ferry. The partners began with approximately 1,500 candidate companies, including the 1,000 largest U.S. companies ranked by revenue, along with non-U.S. companies in Fortune's Global 500 database with revenues of $10 billion or more. They then narrowed the pool of companies down to the highest-revenue companies in each industry for a total of 680 companies in 29 countries. The top-rated companies were selected from the pool of 680.
