Aledade extends Utah ACO to 4,000 Regence BCBS members

Morgan Haefner -

Aledade partnered with Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah to expand Aledade's Utah ACO.

Under Aledade's first commercial contract in Utah, Aledade's Utah ACO will be held accountable for the total healthcare experience of 4,000 Regence policyholders who visit ACO primary care physicians.

Aledade's physician-led ACO will reward physicians for improving patient health outcomes and care quality while lowering costs.

Scott Segell, vice president at Aledade, said, "Regence members are the real beneficiaries of this partnership that allows independent primary care practices to take advantage of value-based opportunities with payers that have previously only been available to large physician networks and hospital providers."
