University Hospital (Augusta, Ga.). Part of the University of Health Care System, University Hospital includes orthopedic and neurosurgeons who provide medical care for numerous conditions, including degenerative joint disease; arthritis of the hip, knee, shoulder or ankle; or conditions requiring joint replacement. The hospital's physicians also attend sporting events at area schools to provide medical care and support to athletes. U.S. News & World Report rated the hospital as high-performing in hip replacement and knee replacement in its common care ratings this year.
