Texas Children's Hospital offers pediatric services in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology and cardiac imaging, among other areas. The hospital was ranked the No. 2 pediatric hospital in the nation for cardiology and heart surgery and the No. 4 overall childrenís hospital in U.S. News & World Report's 2016-17 rankings. The Health Care Accreditation Colloquium recognized Texas Children's as an Accredited Heart Failure Institute. The hospital is the first in the state and only one of five pediatric members to earn the designation. It has been Magnet-designated by the American Nurses Credentialing Center since 2003
