Baystate Medical Center's Davis Family Heart & Vascular Center offers a full range of treatment options and features six surgical/endovascular suites to accommodate complex heart surgery procedures. The cardiac surgeons at Baystate perform more than 80 percent of all cardiac surgeries in western Massachusetts. With an aim of providing life-saving care to heart attack patients at the earliest moment, Baystate's Regional Heart Attack Program offers angioplasty up to 25 minutes sooner than the national standard. In 2016, Truven Health Analytics recognized Baystate Medical Center as a Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospital. Magnet-designated Baystate is also a Blue Distinction Center+ for Cardiac Care.
