Northwestern Memorial Hospital (Chicago). As part of Northwestern Medicine, Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Department of Neurology's physicians are faculty members of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. The hospital offers diagnosis and treatment of a variety of conditions, including tumors of the brain and spine, stroke, epilepsy and a dedicated Women's Neurology Center. U.S. News & World Report ranked Northwestern Memorial Hospital as the No. 10 hospital in the nation for neurology and neurosurgery for 2015-16, making it the highest-ranked neurology program in the state for the ninth consecutive year. The hospital is also a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery and has also earned a variety of Healthgrades awards in recent years, including the Neurosurgery Excellence Award and the Neurosciences Excellence Award.
