Fritz Francois, MD. CMO and Patient Safety Officer of NYU Langone Health (New York City). Dr. Francois first joined NYU Langone Health as a medical student; he also completed his residency and fellowship training there before entering into practice. He rose through the ranks to become NYU Langone's CMO and patient safety officer, responsible for the four-hospital health system's medical staff. In addition to his role with NYU Langone, Dr. Francois is an associate professor in the department of medicine at the hospital. Board certified in internal medicine, his research on colon cancer and diversity among patients is published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology and Clinical & Translational Gastroenterology.
