University Hospitals Case Medical Center | 100 Great Hospitals in America 2015

University Hospitals Case Medical Center (Cleveland). Clocking in at 1,032 beds, University Hospitals Case Medical Center, together with Case Western Reserve University, forms the largest center for biomedical research in Ohio. Case Medical Center houses several hospitals, including UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, UH MacDonald Women's Hospital (Ohio's only hospital specifically for women) and UH Seidman Cancer Center.

U.S. News & World Report ranked UH Case Medical Center as the No. 2 hospital in Ohio and ranked it nationally in 12 specialties.

One of those specialties was cancer, as Case Medical Center ranks 18th in the nation. The Seidman Cancer Center recently received some major national recognition. The Case Comprehensive Cancer Center — which includes UH Seidman Cancer Center and Cleveland Clinic Taussing Cancer Institute — was elected to institutional membership of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network this year. The Center became one of just 26 member institutions in the U.S.
