Healthcare Dominates U.S. News' Latest "Best Jobs" List

Healthcare jobs dominate U.S. News & World Report's "100 Best Jobs of 2014" list, as dentist, nurse practitioner and pharmacist take three of the top five rankings.

Healthcare jobs took up 40 percent of the list. U.S. News & World Report bases its rankings on jobs' ability to meet employment concerns, such as job prospects, work-life balance, advancement opportunities, employment rate and salary expectations.

Healthcare didn't snag the top spot, however. This was the first year that accolade went to the tech field: Software developers have the #1 job for the year.
