Cardinal Health recently hosted its annual Retail Business Conference for the 25th year, according to a press release. Here are 5 things to know.
1.) The conference focused on independent pharmacy owners and pharmacy franchise owners from across the country and provided access to pharmaceutical manufacters and buying opportunities.
2.) Keynote speakers included former Secretary of State General Colin L. Powell and NFL legend Jim Kelly.
3.) Cardinal honored pharmacies that implemented programs that show how independent pharmacies can improve patient outcomes and drive business results. The winners each received $3,500 from Cardinal Health to be donated to a pharmacy school or pharmacy association of their choice.
4.) Cardinal hosted a Women in Pharmacy Boot Camp for the 4th time to connect female pharmacists and students with pharmacy owners.
5.) The event took place at the Venetian Hotel & Convention Center in Las Vegas on July 22-25, 2015.
