In December 2016, the telehealth provider Teladoc surpassed 2 million patient visits.
This achievement builds on the 1 million-patient visit landmark the company reported in October 2015. A recent Veracity Analytics study — led by Niteesh Choudhry, MD, PhD, of Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston — determined that these 2 million visits represent more than $900 million that Teladoc has saved its clients.
