Tru-D hires Clinical Affairs Director

In a recent press release, Tru-D SmartUVC announced that they have hired a Director of Clinical Affairs.

Ralph Taylor, RN, MSN, MHA, CNOR has joined the Tru-D team to expand the success of the company's approach to enhanced UV disinfection throughout the U.S. As Director of Clinical Affairs, Taylor will lead the design and implementation of successful infection reduction programs that highlight Tru-D's contribution towards meeting hospital objectives and infection rate reduction goals specifically within surgical center operating rooms.

"Ralph was the Director of Surgical Services at Oak Hill Hospital in Florida during a very successful trial and purchase of Tru-D in its ORs. He has worked side-by-side with our company for more than a year and brings an expertise to the team that helps us provide a unique offering to hospitals throughout the country that no other competitor can provide," said Chuck Dunn, CEO and President of Tru-D SmartUVC.

Taylor began his career in health care in 1999 as a CNA, then working to a RN. He received his ADN from the University of Pikeville in Kentucky, Bachelor's degree from Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences and MSN and MHA from Walden University. Taylor has worked as a staff nurse in telemetry, Medical ICU, CVICU, CVOR, general OR, PACU and Pre-op. In 2005, he began working as an OR educator/assistant director in Tennessee. More recently, he has been a director of surgical services for the past 10 years including two years as an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer.
