Survey: 66% of Providers Feel Ill-Prepared to Create Personalized Prevention Plans

A recent survey of 2,200 healthcare providers by TeleVox found that 66 percent of providers report being ill-prepared to create personalized prevention plans that are tailored to each individual patient's daily routine, psyche and family life.

The survey's results were included in the TeleVox report "Healthcare Change: The Time is Now."

The survey also found that only 5 percent of providers would give patients in their care "A" grades for adherence to directions and putting effort into becoming healthier.

Additionally, 71 percent of healthcare practices surveyed for the study report being unprepared to engage patients throughout the year with communications that help them adhere to their personalized health plans.
