ECRI Institute, Hartford Hospital to launch educational series on robotic surgery

ECRI Institute, in collaboration with Hartford Hospital, is launching a new educational series, called "Robotic Surgery and Risk Management: Virtual Conference Series.

The three-part course is an approved AMA PRA Category 1 Credit/California State Nursing virtual conference. The first session will take place on Thursday, Oct. 2.

"Robotic malfunction is a new reality in healthcare facilities. This program aims to raise awareness and provide risk management guidance about the unique medical and technical considerations associated with robotic surgery," said James P. Keller, Jr., vice president, health technology evaluation and safety at ECRI Institute.
