During the week of Nov. 22-28, the CDC reported a slight increase in influenza activity, but levels remaining low overall for the season thus far.
Additionally, no pediatric infant deaths were reported and the proportion of outpatient visits for influenza-like illness was 1.9 percent, which is below the national baseline of 2.1 percent for the same week. Only three of 10 regions reported ILI at or above their respective baseline levels.
